For more than two decades, the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has powered a STEM engine that has inspired and transformed the lives of thousands of students and helped reshape the organization.
Driven by a powerful partnership with the Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP), these initiatives cultivate a continuous talent pipeline stretching from kindergarten through graduate-level research.
This episode features Speler Montgomery (ERDC’s Talent Acquisition Manager), Tracy Gordon (ERDC’s STEM Education Outreach Coordinator), and Shelley Tingle (a research civil engineer). Together, they have organized and nurtured STEM-focused educational camps for children, internship programs for collegiate students, and outreach programs designed to help educators bring the latest STEM concepts back into their local classrooms.
